The Continental Divide Trail (CDT)) is about 3,000 miles and runs between Mexico and Canada. It follows the Continental Divide of the Americas Continental Divide of the Americas along theRocky Mountains and traverses five U.S. states — Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. It is the youngest, most remote, and rugged of the Triple Crown Trails (PCT, CDT, AT). The terrain varies from trail, to roads, to cross-country hiking.
